Absolutely. I LOVE kids in weddings — they bring the most genuine moments and the best photos. Whether it’s a ring bearer, flower girl, or your furry friend walking down the aisle, we can make it work and keep it stress-free.
A wedding celebrant is the person who legally officiates your wedding and lodges your paperwork with the Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages. But I’m more than that — I’m your ceremony planner, your hype person, and your calm voice on the day.
To get legally married in Australia, you must:
• Be 18+ (or have a court exemption)
• Not be currently married (If you have been divorced or widowed you will need divorce papers/death certificate, if you don't have them I can help you obtain them, I just need to sight before your ceremony)
• Lodge your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) at least 1 month before the ceremony
• Have two adult witnesses present at the ceremony

If you want your dream date and a celebrant you love, I recommend booking as soon as you have a date.
If you’re planning a last-minute wedding or elopement, I’m here for it. Just send me your date and location ASAP so we can lock everything in.
Most ceremonies with The Perfect Vow run 20-30 minutes. It depends on your vows, readings, and whether you want a few special moments included. I keep it heartfelt, fun, and relaxed — no awkward dragging.

If it rains or your venue changes, we’ll simply adapt. I’m flexible and experienced with outdoor weddings, indoor backups, and last-minute adjustments — so you can relax and enjoy the day.
Yes! I travel across Queensland for weddings. Travel fees may apply depending on distance, and I’ll confirm everything clearly before you book.
Absolutely, as long as you pay your invoice off 7 days before your Ceremony we can come up with a plan that suits you. Just let me know when you contact me.
I will do this for you, at the time of submitting your legal paperwork I will ask you if you would like me to do this on your behalf.
After your marriage has been submitted to Births, Deaths and Marriages (usually the first business day after your ceremony) they will contact you to pay your fee via a link within an email. You will have 30 days to complete. I like to choose that your certificate is sent to you via registered post just to ensure this very important official document doesn't get into the wrong hands. This is the document you will need to do your name changes.
Don't worry this is also something else I can guide you on after your ceremony.
Just because your ceremony is over I won't abandon you, I will be with you until you don't need me anymore.
All your paperwork even on the wedding day will be your usual signature.
You won't sign a new signature until you change your name (this is usually your licence so practice before then)
Absolutely, everyone has different circumstances and dynamics. This is something we discuss at our signing meeting.
Yes, not everyone feels comfortable standing in front of a crowd and I can honestly say 80% of couples feels this way. You can say as little or as much as you want. My Standard package is made just for you. The most you have to say is your legal vows and I even help with that, I have it all written out for you in a little book that you just read from and just a couple of "I Do" its that simple.
You focus on your partner and leave the rests to me.
For Sure - We will navigate it together, my tick and flick questionnaires will guide you all the way. I even have video's for those that like a visual on how a typical ceremony runs. You can change your mind any time you like. To start with the most important thing you need to have is the date, anything else will happen organically.
